No individual or company is required to submit any information. Etihad Credit Bureau collects the information directly from the Information Providers as per its mandate under the Federal Credit Information Law (6) of 2010 and its amendment in Federal Decree Law No. (8) of 2020.

Financial Institutions provide Etihad Credit Bureau with information, such as banks and finance companies. At the same time, information is provided by non-financial companies – such as telecom operators and large conglomerates – and government entities including courts and water and electricity providers. We also regularly assess the value of credit information sources and add them in line with the necessary laws and regulations.

Entities accessing your credit report must first have your consent. This aligns with the UAE Federal Law No. (6) of 2010 on Credit Information and its amendment in Federal Decree Law No. (8) of 2020. Any company subscribing to Etihad Credit Bureau services, such as UAE banks, telecommunication companies or government entities can request reports on their customers without their consent if a payment is outstanding.

The easiest way to view your Credit Report and Credit Score is to download the Etihad Credit Bureau CreditReport App or visit our website. If, you want someone to receive your Credit Report or Credit Score on your behalf, provide a Power of Attorney authorizing other person to receive them.
